Biography
A high performing Career Transition/Outplacement Coach and CV Writer, offering a wealth of experience and industry insight in all stages of the career transition process; expertise developed from a blended career, built from an earlier operational platform in HR and Manufacturing and more recently as a successful recruitment business owner and Career Transition Coach.
A job search ambassador for professionals and champion of good practice, with the ability to unlock any career transition or job search challenge.
Background
Ginnie Riley has an extensive background in career transition, including 20 years in recruitment. Ginnie’s earlier HR career spanned the drinks, automotive and chilled foods manufacturing sectors, including two green-field start ups and the delivery of sizeable recruitment programs.
Following a direct approach and the completion of a world-class training program, Ginnie’s career evolved in executive search, predominately in the food and drink manufacturing sector. In 2007, she set up her own executive search business, recruiting mid-tier professionals across all disciplines in the food and drink manufacturing sector.
Spotting an opportunity in the recruitment landscape, in 2017 Ginnie set up Jobsearchwarrior, focussing on supporting professionals with their career transition on a one-to-one basis and on a much more practial level. This was a continution of the support she been providing through her recruitment business, and filled a much needed void of support for professionals, particulary around effective job search.
Coaching experience
At all stages of Ginnie’s career, she has been supporting employees, candidates and job searchers with their career transition. During her time running her own recruitment business, she found she was investing more and more time coaching, guiding and mentoring individuals that were lost, unfamiliar, stressed or just in need of impartial, expert guidance.
This support may have been in the form of coaching to achieve career transition objectives; mentoring to support their career journey or offering easy access to more practical and grounded job search support.
