Biography

My career started after completing my Counselling qualifications in 2007. From roles in education, bereavement and addictions, it is the latter that I spent the next 9 years.
Here, I held a dual role of Counsellor and Training Team Coordinator. This meant I could fulfil my passions for helping people to make and maintain positive changes in life, together with, developing and delivering brief interventions training for professionals in health and social care to reach a wider audience.

In 2016, I developed a passion for coaching and so after gaining my qualifications I set up my own business. This has since developed in to 1:1 coaching sessions for individuals and delivering workshops for staff within businesses across the City of Sheffield. Mental Health and Workplace Wellbeing are at the forefront of this to enable businesses to support staff to live their very best life.

I’m also an associate for Peak Health Coaching where we deliver health coach and patient activation training for teams in Health and Social Care.
I’m on a mission to help people take ownership of their health and wellbeing. Because when they do, life is better! They live happier and healthier, manage stress and anxiety more effectively and take ownership for themselves. In short, it just works!
I live in Sheffield with my husband and son. When we’re not busy at work and school we enjoy spending time as a family, walking, eating out and completing jigsaws (usually Marvel ones!)

Testimonials

Holly has been coaching me for over a year and has been an incredible inspiration to me. Holly has the ability to find the nuggets inside you, draw them out so you can see them and then provide simple tools which enable you to make the most of who you are. I know it’s cliche but I am genuinely a different person as a result.
Andy, Sheffield

As part of the employee Health and Wellbeing Programme –B. Healthy B. Braun – we commissioned Holly and Think:me to run an online webinar on the subject of positive mental health. With a specific focus on Covid-19 and managing working from home with personal commitments the content was both thought provoking and engaging. The webinar was delivered professionally and with a friendly tone exactly to our service requirements. I would I have no hesitation in recommending Think:me services to add value to, or support workplace Health and Wellbeing Programmes with specific expertise in mental wellbeing of workforces.
Andrew Picken, Health and Wellbeing Manager, B.Braun

Working with Holly helped me to clarify what was important for me when starting a new career. She helped me to work out what skills I had and what I wanted in a new role and then to take action in searching and applying for new jobs. Until this point it had felt overwhelming and so I didn’t know where to start.
Sally, Sheffield

Holly is truly insightful and helps to motivate you with her empathetic approach. She is an excellent coach who works with you to set goals each week and talks you through how to achieve them realistically. After completing our sessions I have achieved the results I was hoping and much more besides.  I feel both inspired and empowered by her coaching and would highly recommend her coaching sessions.
Donna, Halifax
