I was facing redundancy and decided I wanted a career change but didn’t know what. Sandra helped me to identify my ideal career and the way forward. I was successful in securing a place at university to retrain to be a Social Worker.
Being made redundant really knocked my confidence. I thought I’d never get back into a management role, but after working Sandra, I’m back to working as a senior manager with my confidence restored.
I really enjoyed the “Your choice, your future” workbook by Sandra Greatorex. I really enjoyed some of the questions that she asked because even as a student who is about to enter her last year of school, some of the questions I hadn’t even thought about myself. It really opened my eyes about the amount of jobs that there is, not just in general, but in my local area as well. It allowed me to take into consideration the diversity of the jobs surrounding me. It also allowed me to think about the qualities that I value in myself and the line of work that I am considering to go into in the future.
